What can I expect during therapy?

I take the time to build a safe relationship with clients while exploring your story, what brought you to therapy, and what you are hoping to gain.

What is your therapeutic approach?

I come alongside clients and prioritize a relational lens. I utilize a variety of clinical interventions derived from Narrative Therapy, Functional Family Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, and CBT to provide a different experience to clients while they explore the reasons for seeking support.

What are your credentials?

I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor with previous training in Functional Family Therapy.

4

Where is your office located?

I provide virtual counselling services for individuals and families throughout Alberta to break down barriers and provide access to quality care.

I also provide in-person sessions in Calgary, #840, 700 4 Ave SW as a part of Riverwest Therapy Collective.

5

Can I utilize my insurance for your services?

If you have benefits to cover clinical counselling services you should be able to utilize them to work with me. It will be the clients' responsibility to connect with their insurance company to see if they cover services with Canadian Certified Counsellor. However, I am very happy to supply a letter to provide your insurance company to request their coverage for my services. Clients will have to pay for counselling services and then submit to their insurance company.

6

How long will it take for therapy to have impact?

People can notice a shift after even one session as it can be so powerful to connect and feel heard, although it can take 10 to 14 sessions for clients to see the lasting impact.

7

How long are session?

Sessions are booked in 50 minutes at a cost of $180.00 or 90 minutes at a cost of $270.00. * I do offer a sliding scale for a select number of individuals if cost is a barrier.
